Pakistan women’s national football team midfielder Suha Hirani has made an overseas switch, signing with Transport United FC for the 2026 season.
The 24-year-old joins the Thimphu-based side from Karachi City FC, where she had built a reputation as a dependable performer and one of the more experienced players in the squad.
In recent years, Hirani has earned recognition as a technically skilled and attack-oriented midfielder. She is known for her ability to drive the ball forward, operate effectively between defensive lines, and make well-timed runs into the box to support attacking play.
While her primary role is that of an attacking midfielder, she is equally comfortable playing on either flank, making her a versatile asset for the national team.
On the international stage, Hirani has been a regular starter for Pakistan and has delivered in important matches, including the recent AFC Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers, where she found the back of the net. In addition to her offensive contributions, she is valued for her work rate and willingness to track back during defensive transitions.
Her move to Transport United FC represents a significant step forward in her career. The Bhutanese club is considered one of the stronger teams in the country’s women’s football scene, and Hirani is expected to play an important role in midfield, offering international experience, attacking quality, and tactical flexibility.
The transfer also highlights a growing trend of players seeking opportunities in regional leagues to gain consistent playing time and continue developing in competitive environments.
