The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has officially announced the 11th class (HSSC-I) result for 2025, revealing that 53.77% of students passed this year’s examinations. A total of 172,100 candidates appeared, out of which 92,541 managed to clear their exams successfully.
The exams were held from May 20 to June 13, 2025, across Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, and Nankana Sahib districts. The overall results show mixed performance across academic groups. The Commerce group recorded a strong pass rate of 66.12%, while Pre-Medical and Pre-Engineering streams achieved 61.73% and 57.99%, respectively. The ICS (General Science group) recorded a 50.60% pass rate, reflecting moderate performance among students pursuing computer science subjects. In contrast, the humanities group remained the lowest-performing category at 42.30%, whereas home economics stood out with an exceptional 99.41% success rate.
Subject-wise, students performed particularly well in Urdu, Islamic Education, and Computer Science, where pass percentages exceeded 90%. Core science subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry reflected average scores ranging between 65% and 80%.
The BISE Lahore Result 2025 highlights both progress and challenges across academic disciplines. While overall performance remained consistent, education experts emphasize the need for enhanced focus on Humanities and technical streams to uplift future academic outcomes and ensure balanced excellence across all groups.
