Oppo’s upcoming flagship smartphones, the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, are set to debut with a fresh look and significant hardware upgrades, according to a leak from reliable tipster Digital Chat Station. The brand appears to be moving away from the signature large, circular camera modules that have been a hallmark since the X6 series. Instead, the new models will feature a sleek, sculpted, corner-mounted camera design — described as “a one-piece cold sculpture.”

This aesthetic shift is reminiscent of the Find X3 Pro’s seamless rear panel, where the camera bump blended perfectly into the glass body after an intricate 40-hour manufacturing process. Expect smooth curves, polished edges, and a premium finish that may also echo elements from the Find X5 series, including ceramic backs and Hasselblad co-branding.

Under the hood, the Find X9 and X9 Pro are rumoured to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with ultra-slim bezels on displays ranging from 6.59 to 6.78 inches. While the resolution might drop from 2K to 1.5K, Oppo is reportedly compensating with huge batteries between 7,000 and 7,500mAh, alongside “obvious” camera improvements aimed at competing with other premium flagships.

Notably, this new design direction will reportedly apply only to the standard and Pro versions. If an X9 Ultra launches, it could retain the bold, oversized camera hump from its predecessor, maintaining its focus on photography-first hardware.
