Pakistan and Uzbekistan to make strong bilateral ties

The Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan recently held a virtual summit with Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of Uzbekistan, and discussed the need to strengthen the trade ties well as the economic cooperation between these two countries.

According to the officials, the premier also highlights the significance of enhancing the diplomatic linkages, political security as well as the defence cooperation.

The PM Imran saids that the steps should be taken to deepen the mutual collaboration in the main fields like tourism, culture and education.

Imran Khan also highlighted the paradigm of economic security of Pakistan along with the shifting focus to the geo-economics.
