Babar Azam received a warm welcome from fans upon his arrival in Australia, despite recent challenges with his batting form. The former captain was among the first members of the touring party to arrive and was met by enthusiastic supporters eager for photos and well-wishes.

After a brief hiatus from international cricket, having been excluded from the last two matches in the home series against England, Babar is determined to reclaim his form in the upcoming three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) before taking a break for the Zimbabwe series.

The rest of the Pakistan squad is expected to arrive soon, with training set to commence on November 1 ahead of the first ODI on November 4.

Earlier today, members of the Pakistan ODI squad landed in Melbourne for their upcoming series against Australia. The remaining players are scheduled to depart today, according to a statement from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi met with newly appointed white-ball captain Muhammad Rizwan and vice-captain Salman Ali Agha, offering his best wishes and highlighting the honor of leading the national team.

The PCB has announced the squads for the upcoming tours of Australia and Zimbabwe, featuring the return of key players alongside promising domestic talents.

Pakistan’s white-ball cricket teams will compete in three ODIs and three T20Is during their November-December tours. The series against Australia is scheduled from November 4 to 18, followed by matches in Zimbabwe from November 24 to December 5.
