NCOC holds meeting to decide the opening of schools

The National Command and Operation Centre is currently holding a meeting on Tuesday to review the opening of educational institutions in the areas where Covid-19 positive rate is higher across the country.

Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mehmood is heading the session including other provincial health ministers and officials.

According to Radio Pakistan, there will also be dussion on the standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Ramazan in light of suggestions from religious scholars in today’s meeting.

While taking it to twitter Shafqat Mehmood also said that during the meeting the government will “decide whether to open or further close educational institutions. The exam situation will also be discussed.”
