The Pakistani government has announced a significant increase in fees for fast-track passport applications.
Starting from May 8, the cost of a 72-page passport will rise to Rs18,500, while a 100-page passport will now cost Rs23,000.
Additionally, machine-readable passports with a validity of 10 years will be subject to the following fees:
- 36 pages: Rs16,200
- 72 pages: Rs25,200
- 100 pages: Rs32,000
This latest fee adjustment follows a previous hike in fees for ordinary and urgent passport applications.
