In his statement marking the International Day of Chinese Language, he highlighted China’s global impact, particularly in economic development, and noted the increasing popularity of Chinese culture and language worldwide.
Shehbaz Sharif underscored that Chinese has emerged as a major language of communication globally, with its inclusion as an official language of communication by the United Nations. He attributed the rapid growth of economic and cultural ties between Pakistan and China to initiatives like the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction at the growing number of Pakistanis learning Chinese, foreseeing this trend as a catalyst for further strengthening the bond between the two countries.
