Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has accelerated preparations for direct flights to the United Kingdom (UK) and Europe.
According to sources within the national airline, PIA management indicated confidence in passing the audit, which would be undertaken by the British Department of Transport (DfT) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
According to sources, the EASA audit team will visit Pakistan in November, followed by the DfT team in October.
