Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif recently launched an innovative project to promote Pakistan’s fascinating tourist sites to a worldwide audience.
The project’s purpose, according to official media, is to deliver factual and compelling information on Pakistan’s attractions to overseas travelers interested in experiencing the country.
This tourist brand, dubbed “Salam Pakistan,” was created to shape the picture of Pakistan as a welcome, secure, and pleasurable destination. It will highlight a wide range of tourist destinations, from stunning mountains and lakes to significant cultural, religious, and historical institutions. The project will also highlight Pakistan’s culinary offerings, hotel alternatives, transit modes, and infrastructure advantages for guests.
During the inauguration ceremony, the prime minister emphasized the abundant natural beauty that graces Pakistan’s northern regions, citing the potential to transform these assets into significant opportunities.
A newly launched electronic portal has been introduced to facilitate tourists, featuring comprehensive information about the country’s top 20 tourist hotspots. These include renowned locations like K2, Gwadar, Ziarat Valley, Uch Sharif, Deosai National Park, Kalash Valley, Takht Bhai, Hingol National Park, Shandur Pass, Kambhar Lake, Fairy Meadows, Ratti Gali, Lahore Fort, Makli Graveyard, Derawar Fort, Rohtas Fort, Kumrat Valley, Hunza Valley, and Mohenjo-Daro.
During the inaugural event, the prime minister stressed Pakistan’s immense natural beauty, highlighting the ability to leverage these assets into substantial prospects.
To assist tourists, a newly developed electronic platform with complete information about the country’s top 20 tourism hotspots has been introduced. K2, Gwadar, Ziarat Valley, Uch Sharif, Deosai National Park, Kalash Valley, Takht Bhai, Hingol National Park, Shandur Pass, Kambhar Lake, Fairy Meadows, Ratti Gali, Lahore Fort, Makli Graveyard, Derawar Fort, Rohtas Fort, Kumrat Valley, Hunza Valley, and Mohenjo-Daro are among them.
