YouTube, the world’s most popular streaming network, has announced the launch of “YouTube Premium” and “YouTube Music” in Pakistan.

According to a statement made by the online streaming firm, YouTube Premium is a premium membership that provides the greatest ad-free viewing experience on YouTube.

The new app offers users an ad-free viewing experience, background plays for multitasking between applications or listening to lectures and other instructive videos, and downloads of their favorite shows and content creators for long flights or limited access commutes.

YouTube Music, on the other hand, is a music streaming app that provides an immersive listening experience. It’s a reinvented, made-for-music app and online player that includes official songs, albums, playlists, and artist radio, as well as YouTube’s massive catalog of remixes, live performances, covers, and music videos.

Users may listen to the newest hits, find songs they like, remain connected to the music world, and discover tonnes of new music to enjoy on their devices by using this app.

While all of this is free in the ad-supported version of YouTube Music, users can opt for an ad-free music experience by joining YouTube Music Premium, which is included with YouTube Premium.

The premium version of YouTube Music includes background play, downloads, and an ad-free listening experience.

Farhan S Qureshi, Google’s Director for Pakistan, stated that over 400 channels have more than one million subscribers in Pakistan, representing a 35% rise year over year, while over 6,000 channels have more than 100,000 subscribers, representing a 30% increase year over year.

“Wow, that’s a big number!” This makes me even more enthusiastic for YouTube to be a part of this rapidly expanding ecosystem, to continue our engagement with the Pakistani creative industry, and to help more Pakistani artists develop their audiences through YouTube Premium and YouTube Music.”

More local artists are sharing their works and creations on YouTube, such as music video premieres, YouTube exclusive material, and featured song lists, as the ultimate entertainment services make their way to Pakistan, and are extending their popularity globally.

Users can subscribe to YouTube Premium for Rs479 per month when they also subscribe to YouTube Music Premium.

They can also join up for the Premium Family Plan, which starts at Rs899.00 per month and allows them to share their Premium membership with up to 5 additional members of their household.

Meanwhile, YouTube Music Premium costs Rs299, while the Music Premium Family Plan is Rs479.

Eligible students can also sign up for the Premium Student Plan, which costs Rs329, and the Music Premium Student Plan, which costs Rs149, on the web and on Android devices.

Eligible users can take advantage of a one-month free trial of YouTube Premium or YouTube Music Premium.

The YouTube Music app is available for free download from the Google Play Store and the iOS App Store.
