On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), Finance Minister Ishaq Dar officially unveiled the Bank of China on Monday in Islamabad.

The inaugural ceremony was an important milestone in China and Pakistan’s growing economic ties.

In his remarks at the inauguration event, the finance minister expressed profound gratitude to the Chinese government for their consistent assistance for Pakistan during difficult times.

He stated that China’s assistance was critical in enabling Pakistan to successfully overcome numerous economic challenges.

Furthermore, Ishaq Dar happily provided excellent figures about Pakistan’s economic success, demonstrating that the country is on the right track.

He stated that foreign credit rating agencies had improved Pakistan’s credit rating, demonstrating the country’s economic improvement and financial stability.

“We have emerged from the difficult times through our resilient efforts, and now we embark on a journey of growth,” Minister Dar stated.

He went on to voice his hope for the future, imagining the Chinese Yuan as a widely acknowledged alternative currency in the global arena.

As it celebrates its tenth anniversary, CPEC remains a transformative initiative, paving the path for greater economic connections and regional connectivity between China and Pakistan.

With the establishment of the Bank of China, both countries are set to use their strategic cooperation to open up new paths of progress and prosperity for their citizens.
