The Oil Tanker Association voted on Monday to halt the supply of oil in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
According to facts, the blockage of Sihala Road has created considerable challenges for oil delivery, prompting the Oil Tanker Association to cease oil supplies in the twin cities.
This move has also resulted in supply disruptions from the Sialkot Depot, damaging Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.
The group has repeatedly asked the district government to speed up the road’s construction in order to address the ongoing supply issues. Their cries, however, appear to have gone unheard.
Furthermore, the poor condition of this critical transportation route has exacerbated the difficulties in assuring a smooth flow of oil supply to the impacted districts.
