The CNG in Pakistan has gone the downward way in the past due to the major challenges that the supply chain has had to face. Nonetheless, the government of Pakistan is going to allow new licenses to the Pakistani CNG stations. These licenses would be granted totally based on the RLNG supply. RLNG is the acronym for re-gasified liquefied natural gas which is set to be granted in the CNG stations across Pakistan.

There got a meeting scheduled by the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) which decided that they would execute an agenda based on the three significant points. The agenda will include points on the permission to give CNG licenses to the sector based on the RLNG. This initiative will finally revive the CNG and the petroleum sector claims the government officials on this advent.

There is an upcoming meeting to be conducted by Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh who happens to be a financial advisor to the PM. Presumably, in that meeting, the prices set under PM’s relief package will get revised. The described prices of these important life articles will get increased as per the current market rates. Furthermore, quantities of gas would be extracted from the Mithri and Mangrio fields subjected to the natural gas and fuel in Sindh and transferred to the Sui gas powerplant.
