Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb on Thursday urged the international community to take note of gross human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

In her message on the annual “Kashmir Black Day,” which is marked on October 27, the minister promised that Pakistan would continue to provide moral, diplomatic, and political support to the Kashmiri people.

75 years ago on this day, the brutal Indian army conquered Jammu and Kashmir without authorization.

She claimed that during the seven-decade-long struggle for Kashmiri liberation, Pakistan acted as a leaden wall.

She said no power in the world could suppress the Kashmir cause, and this journey would end only after the freedom of Kashmir. The sacrifices of the Kashmiri people for the freedom movement were unmatched and unforgettable. It was difficult to find an example of those sacrifices.

The people of Kashmir have proven that India cannot weaken their spirit of freedom through excessive force.

There was one Indian soldier for every ten Kashmiris in IIoJK, she said.
