According to the President, increasing bilateral trade from its current level of $50 million to $150 million will enable it to reach its full potential in terms of commerce, business, and investment.

In order to develop potential joint ventures in the areas of agriculture, vertical farming, robotics, information technology, water management, flood water management, crop insurance, and the development of high-yielding seeds, he emphasized the need to establish connections between the private sectors of Hungary and Pakistan.

The President gave the chosen envoy advice to work with the Hungarian Oil and Gas Company, which had a significant investment in Pakistan, and convince them to expand its business into renewable energy as well.

He was grateful for Hungary’s support in granting Pakistan GSP plus status. He advised the envoy to highlight the true image of Pakistan and the sacrifices rendered by the Pakistani nation to counter terrorism and extremism in the country.

He asserted that discussions concerning Hindutva philosophy and India’s growing Islamophobia trend are necessary in order to address the threat Islamophobia poses to Muslims’ lives and property.
