On October 25, Imran Khan, a former prime minister, is scheduled to speak to the Oxford Union. He is on the list of visitors who have been asked to speak to the Oxford Union.

Ahmed Nawaz, a survivor of the APS, declared himself president of Oxford Union on Twitter on Friday. He will be speaking with other individuals, such as the activist for education Malala Yousafzai.

“I am thrilled to share with you all the list of speakers that will be joining us at @OxfordUnion this term! From Malala Yousafzai to PM Imran Khan to Dr. Anthony Fauci & many other world leaders will be joining us in the Oxford Union Chambers!,” said Ahmed Nawaz in his tweet. Imran Khan will be addressing in the third week of Oxford Union Michaelmas Term 2022.

His supporters are delighted about the news. The PMLN leader Maryam Nawaz, who demanded serious penalty for the Vice Chancellor of the GC University Lahore, was also criticised by them.

Imran Khan, the former prime minister, spoke to a group of students at Government College University Lahore earlier this week. The Punjab Information Technology Board, in partnership with GCU Lahore, hosted the orientation event for “Taleem and Hunar Saath Saath,” which attracted a sizable number of students. The programme aims to kick off a new initiative in which the academic curriculum will be aligned to improve students’ talents.

Imran Khan, a former prime minister, was the event’s chief guest.  Imran Khan, in his speech, took hard-hitting jibes at his political opponents. Videos circulating on social media showed the massive number of students who attended the event.

On this occasion, Maryam Nawaz requested harsh punishment for the VC of GCU Lahore via Twitter. “Strict action must be taken against Vice Chancellor Government College Uni for desecrating an educational institution by lending it to a Fitna & organising his jalsa on the premises,” she wrote in a tweet. Utilizing a place of learning for political hate speech is an offence that should be penalised.

Soon, a trend began purportedly by PMLN against GCU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Asghar Zaidi for allegedly allowing Imran Khan to organize his political rally at an educational institute. Maryam Nawaz received flak on social media after she demanded that action be taken against Vice Chancellor GC University Professor Dr. Syed Asghar Zaidi.

Now, PTI supporters are hitting back at Maryam Nawaz asking if action should be taken against the Vice Chancellor of Oxford University.
