Imran Khan gives Consent for STEM Project – Education Sector to Flourish

A Project that will introduce Special Education in 400 Higher Secondary Schools of Pakistan, was approved by Prime Minister of Pakistan – Imran Khan on Friday. In a meeting, the Prime Minister showed his consent for the launch of STEM (Science, Technology, Engi­neering, and Maths) Project with collaborations of Universities in higher secondary schools. The 400 schools will have modernized technology and access to training in modern sciences. The meeting was attended by various key personalities of Pakistan, including Chaudhry Fawad Hussain, Minister for Science and Technology along with Abdul Razak Dawood, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Commerce, Finance Secretary, and some senior officials as well.

STEM & Modernized Laboratories

The First Phase of Development in the STEM project will include the modernized laboratories for science and technology, engineering and mathematics which would certainly be established initially in 40 schools. With the project expanding to 400 schools, almost a hundred thousand students will have access to the training of modern sciences and education. With such Educational Measures by the Government of Pakistan, the sector will flourish with modernized teaching and courses. The youth will emerge with better knowledge and training to excel in their job roles.

Promotion of Educational Sector in Pakistan with the help of STEM Project

PM Imran Khan was briefed on the promotion of Science and Technology in the country by Chaudhry Fawad Hussain and explained the finalization of related projects that benefitted the health sector and other major sectors. The key projects were highlighted and a plan of future plans was given to promote the Science and Technology in Pakistan by Chaudhry Fawad Hussain. Prime Minister Imran Khan was briefed about the working on the proposed university, The University for Engineering and Emerging Technology that were to be set up at the Prime Minister House. Furthermore, he was told that projects of clean water, promotion of health sector, and the relevant jobs for youth and women are also acknowledged and will further be entertained as well.
