President addressed 19th Convocation of Iqra University

President Dr. Arif Alvi addressed the 19th Convocation of Iqra University in Karachi on Monday.

President Dr. Arif Alvi has directed all educational institutions to focus on the skill development of youth to put them on the path of development. 

The President said that the main components of our education must be to increase logical thinking and communication skills to polish the talent of the young generation.

Furthermore, Dr. Arif Alvi urged to increase the literacy rate in the country and improve the quality of education as well.

He also said that the world has become smaller thanks to information technology and artificial intelligence and the acquisition of knowledge is much easier as we can find all we need in the cloud.      

Moreover, Realizing the significance of technology, he maintained that:

“Within the next 10 years, a lot of things will transform. Digital media will replace newspapers and the virtual world would emerge.

Furthermore, Congratulating graduating students of Iqra University, he said:

“These students are elites. They have the education, a lot of people do not have.”

He also said you are graduated and you have to think of those people who could not get the education and you have to do something for them.

The President said we need such people in million and the world needs such people in million.

He said the government has launched various programs like Ehsaas for uplifting the poor people living in the country.
