Prime Minister Imran Khan PTI expressed pleasure on the resolution of a decade-old dispute between Thor and Harban tribes and said that it will not only allow smooth and timely completion of Diamer Bhasha Dam but also pave way for settlement of boundary dispute between Gilgit Baltistan & Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Prime Minister Imran Khan broke this news to the public on Tuesday night, saying:
“Historic development & good news on Diamer Bhasha Dam, Grand Jirga of Diamer & Upper Kohistan elders have settled decade-old Thor & Harban tribes’ dispute. This will allow smooth & timely completion of Dam as well as pave way for the settlement of boundary disputes between Gilgit Baltistan & Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.”
