Sindh schools resumed on Monday (today) with rigorous standard operating procedures (SOPs).

According to a letter released last week by the School Education and Literacy Department, schools are now permitted to provide in-person lessons six days a week.

Schools have been permitted to remain open six days a week with 50% participation on alternate days, and all administrators of educational institutions have been ordered to guarantee that all teaching and non-teaching personnel are fully vaccinated.

According to the announcement, all institutions will ensure 100 percent compliance with COVID-19 SOPs, and the health department will conduct random PCR testing as needed.

Parents and kids have shown their joy at the restoration of education.

On August 23, the Sindh government and the All Pakistan Private Schools’ Federation (APPSF) decided to reopen schools following a protest by teachers and parents against a delay in permitting in-person sessions beginning on August 23.
